Hot Spicy Apple Syrup

(Parental guidance advised)

Serve this syrup warm over waffles, French toast, hot cakes, or ice cream

You will need:

1 cup cold water

1 (6ounce) can frozen apple juice concentrate, thawed

¼ cup sugar

11/2 tablespoon cornstarch

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon vanilla

minute pinch ground nutmeg

 

 

Wash your hands well and read all the directions

1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan.

2. Stir over medium heat until mixture simmers and clears, about 10-12 minutes. 

3. Serve warm

4. Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator.
