A Different Green Bean Casserole (Some parental participation required)

Get out your kitchen scissors and have fun with this recipe.

You will need:

8 slices of bacon

2 (16 ounce) cans whole green beans

½ cup French salad dressing

½ cup chopped onions

Wash your hands well and read all the directions. Ask an adult to help you pre-heat the oven to 350°

1. With your kitchen scissors cut across each strip of bacon every one inch.

2. With the help of an adult place bacon in a medium skillet and fry over medium heat until bacon is crisp.

3. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel to drain.

4. Open green bean cans and drain.

5. Ask an adult to help you chop the onion.

6. Measure the French salad dressing.

7. In a casserole combine the green beans, French salad dressing and onions. Stir

8. Sprinkle crisp bacon over the top.

9. Place the casserole in the oven and heat for 30 minutes.

Enjoy this quick winter vegetable.
