READING THE SMT
Seeing Slovenija: Charlotte and Jim Graddy of Twain Harte reading the Sierra Mountain Times on the shores of Lake Bled, Slovenija with the Church of the Assumption on the only Slovenian island in the background. The Graddys toured Croatia and Slovenija, beginning in Dubrovnik, Croatia and traveling the coast north stopping in Opatjia, Split and Bled, Slovenija.
Tee Time: The Twain Harte SIR (Sons In Retirement) RV Club enjoys reading the Sierra Mountain Times in front of the Nakoma Dragon Golf Resort clubhouse in Graeagle, CA. The group enjoyed a very challenging round of golf.
Road Trip Reading: Twain Harte residents (from left to right) Rich and Marilyn Knudson, Jan and Tim Ewing, and Willie and Chuck Evans read the Sierra Mountain Times in Cody, Wyoming. This was one of their many stops during a 4,500 mile, 15 day, R.V., and camping trip which took them across five states where they witnessed the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone, Bryce, Zion and Glacier National Parks, and Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments. They had a fun time exploring as well as seeing moose, deer, antelope, eagles, and some of Americas’ most beautiful scenery.
