Mother Lode Halloween The Sequel: (not yet rated)
Yeahhh baby! Austin Powers (Jeff Lyons) brought his go-go dancers (Jeanne Lawton-Gisi, left, and Monica Lyons) to the bash at Courtside Bar and Grill in Twain Harte. There, D.J. “Dippy” (all the way from Concord), came to spin some hot hip hop, and techno music!
Story and photos by Greg Kristapovich
To outsiders, Halloween night in the Mother Lode could be an extremely frightening experience. It’s not necessarily the numerous devils, witches, pirates, or grim reapers roaming around; but others, like the two guys whose trousers were drooping down to the proverbial “plumber’s position”, revealing enormous buttocks of undetermined material – and whose tee shirts said “Redneck and Proud!” (sorry, these photos were deemed too frightening for publication!). At the various parties, interesting characters showed up: Cat Woman, Professor Gadget, Julius Ceasar, Alice Cooper, and several Cowgirls and “sexy policewomen,” just to name a few! Unfortunately, one of Tuolumne County’s favorite witches, Gertrude, did not attend any party, as she was involved in a horrific, single broom accident; flying head-on into a telephone pole along Phoenix Lake Road. She suffered season-ending injuries. But at all the parties, there were lots and lots of zany, outrageous and frightening characters. There is nothing quite like a Mother Lode Halloween! (Front page Elvis is Todd Davigeadono of Sonora. He made an exclusive appearance at Lumberyard Brewing Co.)

MoFo Party Band brews up a monsterous batch of blues and rock at the Lumberyard Brewing Company, much to the delight of all the ghouls, goblins and various creatures!
“Officer” Bonnie Lentz of Twain Harte “arrests” Larry “Caltrans” Novak, also of Twain Harte, inside Ed’s Cocktail Lounge. Mr. Novak was charged with numerous count of obstructing traffic and creating countless 20-minute delays.
Self-proclaimed “Dead King and Queen of Twain Harte” a.k.a. Paula McMann and Bobby Broveleit) looked rather lively, and held court at Ed’s Cocktail Lounge!

Where are the pictures from the KILLER Halloween show at the Black Oak Casino? There were some awsome costumes there as well…..
