		<description>Looking up some history on my great grandfather he came from Sonora Calif in 1829-30. He was an Native American from Carmel Calif.He ended up in Chino Calif.I am making plans to go and vist Sonora just to see the mines and the places where he came from. He left the area because he was Navtive American and he feared for his life.Ididn't know about the Cherokee.</description>

		<description>Good article. I too have cherokee in my blood but most of us went north to Oregon. It's nice to know the people (the literal meaning of 'cherokee') were here too.</description>
