Bigfoot sightings have been reported all over the United States. Indeed, numerous reports have been filed in California with law enforcement agencies. Local newspapers have published witness accounts. Native American tribes up and down California tell folk stories about the elusive, mysterious big “hairy man.”

Sometimes wading into a state ballot proposition is like reading a mystery novel. Like a novel, a measure may seem straightforward with few surprises until close to the end where the reader finds a plot twist that changes the whole understanding. June 3rd’s ballot measure 98 is one of these.
