Celtic Invasion Spreads to Murphys
Throngs of people turned out on Main Street for Murphys Irish Day, Mar. 15. As Murphys Creek flowed in Irish Green hues, visitors and residents alike gathered to enjoy a vast array of food, crafts and entertainment. Hail and rain was to make an appearance, but with the luck of the Irish, it held off until the parade was over. The festivities lasted throughout the day and into the evening, with the partying continuing inside a packed Murphys Historic Hotel where the revelry went into the wee hours.
