The 17th annual Angel’s Camp Holiday Parade put on by the Angels Camp Business Association took place on Saturday, Dec. 1 on Main St. of Angels Camp. It was a colorful parade with numerous floats, music, horses, marchers, vintage cars and more. From top to bottom: The Bret Harte High School Marching Band; Miss Calaveras County of 2007, Shayni Emerson of Avery rides in style with Furman Brown in his 1912 Ford T-Speedster; Santa and Mrs. Claus Chauffeured, first class in Angel’s Camp Fire Department’s 1925 Dodge/Le France Chemical Fire Truck; and three-year-old Jakob on a horse. Treats were handed out as well as free ice cream after the parade. Police Chief Tony Trachiero even tossed out “Get out Jail Free” cards!
